This abstract sculpture found its genesis while working on a large pottery project. I had been throwing cake stands on the wheel when I suddenly needed to sit up and start to iterate and imagine clay's possibilities. I playfully call this piece Cake Stand, it reminds me to take breaks during the day and enjoy my life.

My current sculptural works draw from history, biology, geology and deep history.
